The Skateboarding Hall of Fame Awards 2010 and Fundraiser

The International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) and Skatelab have confirmed the hosting of an invite-only event be held at The Cooper Building in Los Angeles on December 4th. The event will honor skateboarding legends Torger Johnson, Stacy Peralta, Steve Caballero, Eric Koston, Bob Burnquist and the first female inductee, Patti McGee and will feature both a silent and live auction of skate memorabilia as well as musical guests. Proceeds from ticket sales and auction items will benefit the Go Skateboarding Foundation which sends kids to “skate-camp” on a scholarship and supports skateboarding related charities. Autographs, memorabilia, cocktails, appetizers, art auction, a raging good time and isTia will also be there! Tickets for skateboarding industry friends and family are $100 donation to the Go Skateboarding Foundation.

IASC Members receive a $25 discount per ticket. This year IASC is also honoring the Revolutionaries of Skateboarding and inducting Craig Stecyk into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. The invitations have gone out, the inductees have been announced and the VIP tables are almost sold out! But you can still get the few tickets left.

The 2nd annual “Skateboarding Hall of Fame” celebration will be hosted by skate legends, Lance Mountain and Steve Berra. The event will feature a live musical and the chance to gather with the elite skateboarding community to honors its most beloved sport and pastime, and to tip their hats to those who have shaped and influenced skateboarding throughout the years.
