Mitchie Brusco first 900 on MegaRamp

Ritchie Brusco on the MegaRamp in Brazil July 2nd, 2011
Mitchie Brusco just landed the world's second MegaRamp 900 during practice at the Nescau MegaRamp Invitational in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mitchie Brusco was 3 years old when he first climbed on a skateboard and now, at 14, he is one of the country's top vert skateboarders!

It all began when he and his mother were shopping at Target. Mitchie, 3 years old at the time, pleaded with his mom to buy him a Tasmanian Devil toy skateboard. "I don't know if he saw the Tasmanian devil or the skateboard, but it started and it hasn't stopped," Jennifer Brusco said.
Mitchie already made enough of a name for himself that he's grown used to signing autographs. He showed his stuff on NBC's The Today Show, paying more attention to the ramps than to host Matt Lauer.
"Being his Mom I wish it was photo shopped in, but got a say it's not I was there and
it happened I wish he didn't love Mega but he does it's just something we have to deal
with now." Jennifer Brusco
He gained additional exposure with appearances on The Wayne Brady Show, The John Walsh Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, 54321 Weekly Update, NBC Sports, ESPN Outside The Lines and charmed Hosts Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway on SoapTalk.

Tony Hawk the 900 innovator immediately reacted on Twitter by saying "Congratulations to Mitchie Brusco with the cleanest 900 to date ... on a MegaRamp," . Without a doubt Brusco is more stoked about getting a tweet from his idol Tony Hawk as he was to land the 900.

The pulled 900 makes Brusco the youngest person in the world to land a 900 air, as well as the second person in the world to land a 900 air on the MegaRamp, after skate vert legend Bob Burnquist, who landed the MegaRamp 900 in September 2010.

Only 6 people have ever landed a 900 on a skateboard. The 6th and newest member is 14 year old Mitchie Brusco who joins the 900 club with Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Georgio Zatoni, Sandro Dias and Alex Perelson. He's only the second skater ever to land the 900 off the MegaRamp, Bob Burnquist being the other who landed the 900 in September last year.
Brusco landed the 900 during practice while in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the second round of the MegaRamp Championship Series. He's in Brazil competing against Burnquist, Rob Lorifice, Adam Taylor, Lincoln Ueda, Edgar Vovo and Jake Brown for the chance to qualify for a trip to Los Angeles to compete at X Games 17.

It's hard to believe only 6 people have landed the trick and one of them is this young grom. It goes to show you youthfulness is a powerful thing
