P-Rod to receive an award at Stoked

Founded in 2005 by Steve Larosiliere and Sal Masekela, Stoked’s mission is to promote personal development, academic achievement, and healthy living to under-served youth through action sports culture. Stoked operates in both NYC and L.A., providing action sports, after-school, community service, and mentoring programs, and has developed partnerships with a vast array of public schools and other non-profit organizations to reach its intended population.

On November 9th, Stoked Mentoring is hosting its annual benefit, the Stoked Awards, at the Union Square Ballroom to honor the achievements of individuals who embody the mission of the New York and LA based non-profit. This year's award recipients have been selected for their commitment to the organization and their community, while maintaining achievements in their personal and professional careers.
