Ranking skateboarders is quite difficult. Take 1,000 skaters and you’ll come up with 1,000 different opinions. World Cup Skateboarding have their own way of ranking the girls’ skateboarders: they grade all the contests and give points to each of the girls and then remove each girl worst contest. Then, they take only the best three contests for each girl and calculate an average. Even if that sounds complicated, it is not and it shows that the WCS does not rank by best buddy but with advanced formulas. Below you'll find the World Cup Skateboarding rankings. You can find out a lot more off of the World Cup Skateboarding website where you can see points for individual events, and finally the final ranking for the forty best skater girls worlwide. isTia.Tv is showing you the best 10.

Amelia Brodka is a busy girl. She is doing a Double-majoring in Communication and Narrative Studies at the University of Southern California, she is writing for the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism’s website and her own website, she is filming “Underexposed”, her senior thesis project at USC, a documentary meant to “highlight women’s skateboarding as well analyze as the skate industry’s approach to female skateboarders.” She is also obsessively skateboarder. Originally from Poland, she spent her first 15 years in the US on the east coast where she learned the basics of street skateboarding. Then, she moved to California (10mn away from Culver City skatepark) and is now a ripper on all the bowls available. In 2010 and 2011, she was able to go to 2 contests only, so she was ranked 10th twice. There is no doubt that if she could go to more than 3 WCS contest in a year, she would finish in the top 5. But, where is the money to pay for the travel expense?
