This year for the first time Kevin, thanks to the support of Lifeblood Skateboards (whom bought him a plane ticket), is travelling down to Australia and New Zealand for a World Cup Skateboard contest circuit. The video above is an excerpt from the latest Lifeblood video and that loop is a big deal since only a few skaters have done the loop, and most of them required long training before doing so. Kevin Kowalski is doing the loop effortlessly and padless... Big respect!
Daniel Evans is skateboard filmmaker who has been Kevin Kowalski's personal videographer through the years. daniel's project is to travel with Kevin to the southern hemisphere and document his first-time experiences with this new terrain and cover the often aggressive, and competitive aspects of skateboarding.
Daniel Evans plan to make a skate video/documentary of the entire trip, with introspective commentary from Kevin and fellow contestants. The video will show aspects of the joys and bourdon of international travel, highlighting his unique skateboard journey through Australia and New Zealand.
