Danny Way: Waiting For Lightning

Waiting For Lightening Trailer with Danny Way
Waiting For Lightning, with Danny Way, has been accepted to the South By Southwest Film Festival

From the producers of STEP INTO LIQUID, comes WAITING FOR LIGHTNING, the story of a young boy from a broken home in Vista, CA, whose passion for skateboarding would one day bring him and his creation, a ramp of prodigious and dangerous proportions, across many cultural and ideological boundaries to attempt the impossible: jump China's Great Wall on a skateboard. It's a film about how much abuse the body can sustain, how deep you have to dig to survive the betrayals of family, and
how high and far dreams can fly.

The Danny Way documentary, Waiting For Lightning, has been accepted to the South By Southwest Film Festival. Check the new trailer on the left.

Big Air and Big Air Rail Jam (in which he took XG gold in '09) were pioneered by Way. World-renowned for his stunts, some of his most recent include a bomb drop off the Hard Rock Hotel/Café guitar in April 2006 (a world record at 28 feet) and jumping over the Great Wall of China (2005). The three-time XG Big Air gold medalist (2004-2006) is completely focused on perfecting a "groundbreaking" new trick for Big Air.
