On May 25th and May 26th 2012, The Paranaense Capital (Curitiba, Brazil) received more than 40 skaters, professionals and amateurs alike from all over the Brazil and even some foreigners to Curitiba Skate Jam. The contest was a mini-ramp championship inside the Velodrome in the Botanical Garden, one of the main points tour of the city.

Because the rain fell the two days preceding the event, the ramp was slightly damaged and could only be repaid in the early evening of Friday.

On Saturday, the sun came out early and, even though some clouds appeared throughout the day, no rain fell and the event ran smoothly, with a large audience who attended to give the best skaters in the sport.
