How to do a Fakie Ollie with Juergen Horrwarth

In 1976, Alan Gelfand, nicknamed "Ollie" learned to perform no-handed aerials using a gentle raising of the nose and scooping motion to keep the board with the feet while skateboarding in pools and bowls. The picture first appeared on the cover of SkateBoarder magazine with the question: “did he make it?”. It was the most amazing skateboarding trick ever invented. It took seven years for the Ollie to jump from vertical to flat and is now the basic trick in street skating. Juergen Horrwarth is showing this trick where it was first invented: in a ramp. He is giving it a twist by doing it fakie… Kudos to the filmmaker, on top of being an interesting tutorial, it is a very aesthetic clip!!!
