For the second time in a little bit over 2 years in Ocean City, a couple of days ago, half-way through the Dew Tour's 2012 Ocean City, all eyes were on the skateboarding events.
Thousands of fans gathered on the beach at Dorchester Street as defending champion Pierre Luc-Gagnon (PLG) won the skate vert finals, while Baltimore native Bucky Lasek leading going into the finals, fall on his last run taking second place, followed by Sandro Dias in third.
"I never got around to doing the round I wanted to because I kept falling toward the end of my run," Said Bucky Lasek, adding that he loves bringing something new to the competition, like the boneless to invert maneuver that he pulled off after inventing it just last week.

Pierre Luc Gagnon said he was impressed by the support of the spectators on the beach. "The fans are so into it here in Ocean City," he said. "It feels great to perform in front of a crowd like this."
More than 50 competitors were lined up for the event, the second year in a row that the Dew Tour has been held on the beach in Ocean CIty
