“At the same time, we’re looking forward to continuing the global celebrations of skate’s most iconic shoe, the Half Cab, and bringing the festivities home to the House of Vans in Brooklyn.

Vans BOWL-A-RAMA™ NYC is a week dedicated to celebrating art, music and true skateboard culture. Presented by YouOnlyLiveOnce, the festival of the skateboard features the 20th anniversary of the Half Cab at New York’s skate HQ, the House of Vans in Brooklyn, The Love & Guts art show "Empty Culture", Vans BOWL-A-RAMA™ NYC competition and The Party Party (more details to come).

We’re so stoked to be able to add New York City as an official stop on the BOWL-A-RAMA™ tour, the first-ever North American edition of the BOWL-A-RAMA™ international professional skateboard bowl series,” commented Chad Ford, Frontside Events Director. “With BOWL-A-RAMA’s prize purse paying down to 20th position for the Pros and to 15th in the Masters division, skaters will be turning New York City on to what bowl skating is all about and encourage everyone to get amongst the action.

BOWL-A-RAMA™ was born on Bondi Beach – Sydney, Australia in 2005 and is the biggest professional concrete series in the World. With the addition of NYC, BOWL-A-RAMA can now call some of the most iconic destinations in the world home.
