Hurley Australian Bowl-riding Championships starts today in Newcastle

The second annual Hurley Australian Bowl- riding Championships (ABC™) will hit one of Australia’s biggest and deepest bowl skateparks, the Bar Beach Empire Skate Park in Newcastle on February 9th from 9am.
Today, international and local talent will be hitting the bowl to warm up before the nationals kick off on Saturday 9th! Local kids will have the chance to meet and also learn how to skate (or some new tricks) today from 3:30pm at the “Learn to Skate” clinic with the Newcastle Skate crew.

The Hurley ABC is an the all-ages Australian event encourages skateboarders from all skill levels, age groups and sex to tackle the Bar Beach bowl.

It is the only truly open and all-encompassing Nationals based event in Australian skateboarding history.
